Hiya guys and girls,

Bill and all those at Microsoft have asoft spot for Apple's Powerbook. They now even used it on their website. And at the time they found out fortunately someone had made a screen dump already.

They have done this a fair bit over the years...

They used beige Powermacs for a lot of early(ish) 'Windows' adverts!

Advertising really grows strange fruits. Here in Germany KNORR, a big convenience food company has placed a TV ad with two people using a Tibook (not so good visible on the website, but on TV you can see the machine from all sides, no doubt it´s a Ti. And again: they masked the glowing Apple logo (see pic)). But when going close up you can see the GUI is Win2k. Maybe the producers didn´t want to run a Mac-specific browser because they thought people are familiar with only Windows GUI
