Hey guys, I have some buddies, that have (PC) laptops, and they got gps picmcia card’s along with navigation software, in affect making their laptop a navigation system..

http://www.fnsweet.com/forums/showth...top+navigation

here is a tread.. it doesn’t say if that product works with a Mac.. so I was wondering if there was anything out there that would work?

I have a 98 wall street with a G3 292 with 320megs of ram, also I might be getting a new power book in the next year or 2.. So I would like to be able to use the navigation with the power book as well….

Also this might sound like a dumb question, but is there any cigarette lighter ac adapter, so I can run the laptop off of the car electricity?

Thanks guys!

Also does apple give any kind of military discount?

If you upgrade your Powerbook or if you buy a bluetooth adapter for your current this is a cool bluetooth receiver that'll work with several map companies' software.

Perhaps one day they'll make a GPS tracker native inside a PowerBook. Those things are tiny nowadays. Don't see why it couldn't nicely fit into the PowerBook lid somehow!
