Hello all, I am really stuck here and would very much appreciate any help.

I have a 333mhz Lombard with recently upgraded top and bottom slot RAM, 512k total, and an upgraded hard drive from (MCE technologies, Mobilstor 40gx, it is a 40 gb Travelstar Hitachi drive 5400rpm.

I have tried many times to install Jaguar 10.2 with no success. I can install and use 9.1 with no problem. The Jaguar install always freezes up, usually right near the end when the window reads something like "finishing installation, less than one minute". Sometimes it freezes up during the initial part of the installation where you are agreeing to the apple terms and selecting what type of install you want.

I have tried the install in multiple configurations but can not get it to take.

Any ideas of things to try? I read somewhere a few days back something about an issue with non apple RAM, Lombard and Jaguar?

it works fine with non-apple ram, but you might take out a module of yours anyway, just to see if it doesn't make a difference
