Help!!!

Every time I try to log into OS X in the log on screen, I type the password and it sends me back out to the login screen

I have a Powerbook 17" and I'm running 10.2.6

I was deleting some pocket mac files, including something called ppcdeamon or something like that. Deleted it through terminal (they were inside pocketmac directories).

Any help is GREATLY appreciated

Boot off your install CD/DVD and repair disk permissions. You can find the option in the menu bar.
