Hi, this is my first post here. I have finally decided to buy the Hitachi's Travelstar 60G 7200rpm drive for my aging 667 DVI Ti and the Firewiredirect's Mach IV encloser for my current 30G hard drive. I'm thinking about using the old one as a back up and starting fresh with the new 60G. Is there anything I should do before doing this? Should I format the new drive with a special software? Should I partition it before using it? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
