I searched this forum but did not see this issue. Is anyone else getting the high pitched screeching while playing a DVD or CDROM. I hit my powerbook to get it to stop this morning. It is really high pitched and goes on for quite a while if you do not intervene with your fist.
It happens infrequently but I am curious if I am the only one.
Do you live by a Apple Store? If it is happening with such frequency have the Genius at the store look it over. Not a fix but at least a idea, and a bump for the thread.
