I need the ribbon cable that connects that cd-rom drive to the motherboard in a clamshell ibook. One little corner of mine got torn and two of the little traces inside the cable were broken, and that must have been enough to ruin the whole cable because now my ibook doesn't even think the drive is there. I e-mailed pbparts.com and asked if they had the cable, but they said they would only sell it to me if I bought the whole cd-rom drive, and they want $229 dollars for a clamshell ibook cd-rom drive. If anyone has this cable and would be willing to sell it to me, or knows where else I might be able to buy one I would be very grateful.
