ok after the second one dropped off i decided to get more involved in fixing the problem
i thought that i might have something in the bedroom so looking around i found some old plastic/rubber golf shoe studs perfect i thought so i cut a few down to size befor i realised that the second one that has come off is the one on the batttery which is not the same as the others is it?
so here is the point what do i do cut another stud up shorter than the rest and stick it on with something like double sided tape or do i leave it and get a specialist to do something about it?
has anyone else done anything like this before?

I've heard of people calling Apple and getting replacement feet sent to them. You could also probably get them at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store.

Do not let Apple play footsies with you. I'd put my foot down and insist Apple give me a new foot. Then I'd make sure they foot the bill for it. If not I'd hoof it down to the nearest shoe store and buy a pair of Dr. Shoals (sp?) foot pads. Who knows? you may be starting a new foot fad featuring firm foam footing for the formerly feetless. Fantastic.

I brought my battery into the Apple store and asked what they could do about my battery's foot. They dont keep those feet on hand at the store though, so they referred me to the Apple support lines, and I called with my problem.
They were set on charging me 6.50 for a foot replacement kit (I'm under applecare btw, everyone on the phone will get charged for this)
But, I talked them out of it because I still had the foot that fell off the battery. It just wont stay on anymore. They said the kit would have the foot and some adhesive, I told them I tried a lot of things with the foot to get it back on. No luck.
So here's how I think I convinced them. Ask the simple question, "What if this doesn't work?". They put me on hold for a few minutes and then came back and told me I was getting a new battery.
Apparently it would be much more of a hassle to send a new foot, the foot not working, starting a new repair, wasting 6.50 of my money, as opposed to a new battery with a fresh foot.
There's my story. Apple support does have ways around it! There is hope!
