Has anyone else ever experienced this:

I have a 15" 1 Ghz Ti Book. Whenever I put it into sleep, after awhile, the power adapter will stop charging the battery (the ring of light around the plug will be off) even though it's plugged in. So what I have to do every time is unplug it from the switch and plug it to a difference socket. If I unplug it, and then plug it back in the same socket, then it still won't work. For some reason, I have to switch sockets. And next time this happens, I have to switch it back. This is super annoying 'cause it keeps draining my battery needlessly. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks,

Geoff

I don't have that kind of PB, but seems like I ran across a similar issue in the last day or two. Something about PB chargers not wanting to charge because there was too much fluctuation in the AC line. There was a suggestion to use a UPS to maintain steady power. That sounds ridiculous to me. PBs are made for the road. Anyway, if it is still under warranty I would call Apple about it. If you can't do that try visiting an Apple store and show it to the local genius.
Happy owner of a new 15" Al PB.

I have the same issue with my 867. I plugged it into a different power brick and it works fine now. I have noticed though that it won't charge from the shaver plug in hotels! Same issue.
