I love it.The feeling, the look and everything on it. WOWWWW. I don't feel any regret after reading that most are going for the 12'' PB. It would still be the PB..
Now I am going to figure out how I can play with my new "little toy".

I've got to say that I don't think Apple has *ever* made a better laptop than the PowerBook G4 Titanium. I've been tempted to upgrade my 667/Combo/VGA-out TiBook to the 17" or, what, side-grade?, to the 12"; I waffle depending on whether or not I plan to keep using a desktop system. But every time I go to look them over, they just don't measure up to my TiBook. I've money burning a hole in my pocket and even considered going with the 1 GHz TiBook, but hate to spend that much on what is, essentially, an older system lacking the forward-looking features of the new PowerBooks.

Well people are still upgrading the processor, storage & optical drives, etc on their pre-Ti Powerbooks. I assume the plastic case is a bit more robust too.
I upgraded from the same rev. b 667mhz to the 1ghz and the much improved video card seems to makes a huge difference, not to mention the processor speed. I do miss the IR port though!
The current line of 12" and 17" really don't have any serious improvements except for Airport Extreme and Bluetooth, neither of which I find necessary and if I did I could get a PCMCIA card or USB dongle respectively. The 15" is still where its at for me.

I can't argue with you there. I really don't do mobile connectivity outside the house and should I need to, my existing first generation Airport is more than suitable for my needs. And I've foregone the gaggle of gadgets: I've tried them and found all of them, even mobile phones, more of a headache than a help; so Bluetooth is particularly unnecessary for me.
I'm sure the new video card in the 1 GHz TiBooks is outstanding and the speed increase is not paltry, but for the work I do, I'm far from stretching the limits of my 667 PowerBook. It's likely I'll just go on window shopping for a couple of years until I've exploited the full life of my current desktop and laptop. I expect it will be quite some time before my Macs won't support the latest revision of OS X.

Har har Reybart! You have been fooled by Apple! Soon all you will do is complain about the PowerBook and it's flaws!! Well, that was the case with the 15" Powerbook G4 400/500Mhz...

And the sense of your posting is? Seems to be a hard fate to be a troll.

Um... what product doesn't have some flaws?
Overall I'm thrilled with my TI. It's very solid, very fast, and just right in the size/portability ratio.

Umm I hate to be the one to break it to Godzilla but I have to. The TI has the least flaws in the line because it is a revision D. There are probably flaws in the 17 and 12 that are really minor and not a problem. Apple probably quietly fixes these hehe. So I dont think he is going to complain about his Rev D TI that has all the bugs worked out of it!

I second this. All the complaints people have about their Ti's seem to be non-existant in mine, and it was used!
No paint chipping, no scratches (doesn't seem to scratch NEARLY as easily as people on here think... it's had a little abuse, though I've been pretty careful so far), no heat problems at all.
The fan does come on relatively often, but it's quiet unless they both come on, which is RARELY. It's still about 1/2 as loud as my girlfriend's (now broken) Toshiba laptop was, and that machine was pretty nice for a windows laptop.
I think Apple DID work out most of the kinks for the rev d's, I couldn't be happier.
