Alright, I'm just about to go mental. I've been waiting so long for the new 15 incher, I don't know what to do. I'm almost about to give in and buy the tibook, but the guy at my store says they CAN'T GET ANY. All they have is a rental, which makes me think it can't be long. Then just now on the us mac site, I say the shipping delay on the one gig was 5-7, when it's usually 1-3. Does this mean anything??? What do I do?

Keep waiting it sounds like we might see one in 1-2 weeks. Wait thats what we have been saying for 2 months. Doesnt matter if you have waited this long then keep waiting. I am in the same boat as you. Although instead of a 15 im starting to lean toward the 12 now especially if a revision gives it DVI and more than 640MB RAM. Then I would just purchase an LCD and life would be all good.

Just keep waiting they have to upgrade it sometime

I upgraded from my iBook to the tiBook and was worrying about the same thing (if they would have it in stock).

Well, thank god I live in NYC. The SoHo store has everything. Apple isn't too quick to ship products. It took my iBook forever.

I'd say this person who says they can't get the 15" PB's anymore doesn't know what he's talking about. Yes, the 15" is still shipping and if they wanted to, could order more. If a store doesn't have any in stock right now, its because they're speculating just like everyone else is on these boards that new models are coming out and they don't want to have any in stock. I know that 15" models are still shipping since I work at a campus bookstore and we're still ordering them from Apple with no problems.

Didn't someone post that Apple had 7-10 days for the TI at one point?

5-7 days sounds like it's still shipping. If they release a new one this Tuesday, then they'll let yyou upgrade. If it's next week, I think you'll have that TI.

Hey you guys. I was just out and saw a 667 that the store still has, and I'm wondering what you all thought of this. It's 1680 us or 2350 canadian, and i guess it has the radeon 7500 32mb card, and 30 gig drive. . . it isn't the new one, but it sure sounds like a good deal. I want to do some protools mixing/composing/recording, some gaming, video, and ebaying on it. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I think 1680 US is kinda expensive for a 667MHz. If you look around, you could find a 867MHz for that price.

Although prices up in Canada might be more expensive.

Here in US 667MHz are around 1200 to 1400 or so.
