okay, for some reason, i have my ethernet connected to my powerbook...i see in system prefrences that its reading it (by noticing my ip address) but no matter what, it wont let me connect to the internet...whats going on? this thing is only like 3 weeks old and has enver done this before.

How do you connect to the net? DSL? LAN?
More information would be good.
