Hi All,

I'm having a problem with my 17" Powerbook, and I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar issue -

When I'm using (most commonly) the Safari webrowser, and say, typing a search request into Google, the text I type into the search box is invisible unless I scroll the screen down to refresh it and scroll back, at which time the text appears as typed. The odd thing though, is that sometimes it appears as if there is an invisible "rectangle" under which no text will appear as I type it until I do the scroll to refresh trick. I know this must be hard to understand what I'm talking about, but if you've seen it you'll know what I'm talking about.

This issue also happens an awful lot when composing email in Lotus Notes. The video system on the 17" is fine in all other uses - I don't have any other problems aside from these glitches when entereing text in some fields in Safari and Lotus Notes.

Any hints?

Cheers,

Wet Jimmy.

Strangely enough, this happens occasionally in IE 6 on my WindowsXP box. I know precisely what you're talking about, yet I've found no remedy either. The only thing I can think of re-installing the problematic programs and see if it fixes it.
