i always have the CPU moniter running cause i find it informative and usefull

howeveri just quit seti that uses all the cpu and quit everything else but the moniter still says:
green - full
red - 3/4 full

what is goin on? there is nothin running and everything runs as fast as though there is nothing on EG safari runns fast.

just a really wierd thing i tried restarting the CPU moniter and even relaunching the finderbut still a full moniter?

just one of my little rants

Well, go into the terminal session and type top, that will show you your processor cycles and whats taking them.

Which version of seti are you using. the command line or the screen saver because I beleive if your running the screen saver version there's seti threads runniing in the background (not doing the computation but handling the screen saver stuff).
