As I was looking at the various drawing tablets available,
it occurred to me that the PB track pad, although used as
a mouse with thumb input, is essentially the same thing as
a tablet... isn't it? or is it?

Has anyone created software to allow you to switch mode,
pick up a stylus, and start using the trackpad as a tablet
for drawing inputs???

Or in my case, since I am addicted to scroll wheels, I
will often be using an external mouse, so the trackpad
would be a great built-in tablet.

Just a WAT (w. a. thought)...

The trackpad won't work with a stylus (it physically won't respond) so my guess is no.

Well, I've been taking notes by drawing pics on my Palm for so long, that the trackpad doesn't seem too small at all... especially if it was mapping to 1024x768... it would seem HUGE.

Oh well.
