Wauw, wow, super, happy, pico de luxe, exicted like a kid in a candy store
All expressions coming to my mind when Iam sitting in front of my new 17inch Powerbook with iSight and 30gig iPod.
The coming night is goingto be a short one as I want to install all my parogrammes on it and try them out. So this weekend I will be working with Adobe, Macromedia, Final Cut, Maya and so on. And in the course of next week you can all admire me being busy behind my Powerbook when my website with live cam pictures is (hopefully) in operation.
For now I can only say to all still awaiting faster and more spectacular Powerbooks: buy it now as this one already awesome and that feeling can not be beaten by a slightly faster processor.
Oh yeh: I bought myself an Incase Sleeve for transportation and some Radtech stuff to finish it off.
Financial info: thanks to buying in the USA in stead of Amsterdam or Wellington I saved myself about USD1700 to the prices in the two countries mentioned before in this sentence. I can recommend it to everyone. The only thing I have to get myself now is a powerplug for continental Europe as the US one does not fit in our wall plugs.

Hey, if the huge, honkin' laptop is what you really want then I am happy for you. Believe it or not the 17" is the perfect laptop for certain folks. I ought to know. I also am one of those certain folks. Check all ports for functionality and check CD/DVD-R burning capability among other things if you havent already. Memorex DVD-R works very well with my 17".
Hope you have as much fun as I have had over these past 4 months, with no bugs or glitches from this veritable (warm and quiet running) work of art.

AssassyN is bitter because he got rid of his massive machine... too big for school or something, got a little 12" now.
Now AssassyN goes around saying its too big out of sorrow because getting rid of the 17" broke something in his soul...
- or something...
ummm yeah thats the story I heard

Hehehe, ahh gotcha...I was like "Man, did I really come across bitter?!"
Hahaha, I miss it, but I think this new PowerMac will erase those thoughts as soon it arrives
