I have Micron (Crucial.com) RAM that I purchased for a Sony VAIO and it has the same specs as the RAM on my Powerbook 15" (CL2 133MHz SYNCH).

OSX recognizes it and it runs great. Any reason I should not use it?

Crucial.com doesn't recommend it for my model (because mine has a different part #) but the rep states that as long as my system recognizes it, should be ok to use...

Any ideas?

RAM is typically cross-platform, and in your case, it is. Keep right on using it, it'll never harm it.
