Hi all,

My G3 500 pismo works fine, but does something strange.

If I am in OSX 10.2.6 and then reboot in OS 9.2.2 it does not give a startup chime. It does start up just fine, however without the chime or any other sound. It works fine too.

Going form OS 9.2.2 to OS 10.2.6 there is the normal chime. And restarting or starting within the same OS there is also a normal chime.

I have OS 10.2.6 and OS 9.2.2 installed on the same (first) partition.

I guess it doesnt matter since the computer works fine, but just wondering if anyone else has noticed this glitch or has an explanantion for it.
