If you use your trackpad, how have you found you best utilize the trackpad/button on your PowerBook. I've been trying it muliple ways... figure I should learn from the crowd's experience...

(If you don't use the trackpad at all, then please don't answer "Other"... this is for those who actually use it.)

I chose two of them: most of the time I use my right thumb on the button, right index finger on the trackpad. (I'm left-handed although I use my right hand for "mousing").

Although sometimes I will have my hand in the same position but I will click on the trackpad with my index finger anyway, even though my thumb is over the button. Why? I dunno, it's quieter!

The method I use isn't listed above. Usually my index finger is hovering over the button while my middle finger manipulates the track pad. The thumb rests up against the display release button.

Slick shoes?!! Are you crazy?!!

I use the same digit I use to give the bird. For everything (pointer, click/hold/drag/drop).

Depends on what I`m doing. When checking emails in the morning I use only my right hand-thumb on Display release, index finger on button and middle finger on trackpad. Left hand is busy holding my breakfast.

When working I use both hands: the left thumb is used for the button and the right middle finger for the trackpad.

I tried using the trackpad with the tapping function but couldn`t get used to it.
