As my date for buying a new 14'' ibook looms closer, i'm curious as to how much apple charges for shipping? free? is overnight more?

When I bought my ibook, shipping was free. However, you could opt for faster shipping for like an extra $15, which is what I did.

I just ordered a powerbook and shipping was free (5-7 business days)
and $12 for 2-3 business days. Edu purchase.

I always opt for the Free Shipping; on my 17" PB Apple upgraded it to OVERNIGHT for free.

If you were giving me that much money, so would I.

It really depends on the timing of your order. Apple also charges sales tax most of the time, so they may cut you a break on shipping.
