I am afraid. When I open my screenof my 17 inch I hear a screach like the hinges are loose or messed up. What should I do?

A screech? That's definitely not normal...is it relatively loud? Does it make the noise the entire time you're opening it or does it stop past a certain degree? If you could get it to an Apple Store, I'd go.

I had the same sound coming from my new PB17. After a couple of ups and downs it has gone away.
