I have a confession....
...I don't like my 12" Powerbook.
"Heresy," you say? I am a heretic. I feel it's just too small. Like a toy. Like a little girly Powerbook. Sure it's faster than my old Ti-400. Sure it's got a slick keyboard and alu-finish. Sure it's got decent battery life. It's light, easy to carry and fits easily into your pocket or backpack. I mean, it's a great machine. Relatively inexpensive--pretty powerful for the price.
It just doesn't have any, excuse my French, "balls" to it. The wow-factor is close to minimal. Barely had it a month, and I feel I could have waited a little longer for an update, while using my trusty Ti. I work and play on this little 'book, and all I can think about is a 15" Alu-Widescreen yum-yum goodness.
Yes, I am fickle. Yes, I am crazy. So, hurry, Apple. Save me from myself.

I love it for all the reasons above, and I find the wow-factor considerable because of it.
But then, I didn't buy it to wow others. I'm quite happy with my penis.

I felt the same way about my 12" PB... I however think I bought the wrong machine to start with. I didn't realise I'd miss DVI that much. In the end, I only kept it a month before I sold it.
I now have an 867 Ti, and am absolutely loving it. (Feels much quicker too!). I can see myself using the Ti for years, which is very rare for me...
Peace,
Marc

Yeah, gotcha. But I'd still like to be "Wowed." I feel like I've settled, and I have. Just waiting for the 15" Al.

Actually, for me, the Wow lies in the fact that the thing is the size of a textbook, weighs less, and burns DVDs. And the keyboard. And the glowing Apple. And the aluminum. And the sleep indicator.
Oh, and that it's So. ****ing. Small.
Just wow.
Different strokes (excuse the pun) for different folks, I guess.

I waited some serious time before buying a Ti and the very next day - up Apple popped with the 'Al's' - But after 7-8 months - I am still very content with my Ti - I see and feel the excellent Apple styling and design as it slowly burns a whole in my lap every day .

My beautiful Ti.
