Hi,
I just got a 15in PB 1Ghz. It's my first real experience with OS X.
It came with 10.2.3 and 9.2.2 on the same partition.
I wanted to have separate partitions for OS X and OS9.
What I did was partition the drive using the Disk Utility from the
Software Restore DVD (v.1.0) and then I installed just OS X on one
partition.
Since the Installer wouldn't let me install just OS9 onto the other
partitions, what I did was restore everything including OSX to the OS9
partition.
I then booted in to OS9 and manually deleted all of the OSX apps,
folders and files (like var temp mach...).
Does that sound like an okay way to have done it, or might OSX have
left some wired file behind on my OS9 partition that could cause
problems.
Should I have instead used the method described here?
