I got a Podium Coolpad to raise my 17inch a bit. It is also great for cooling it off at the same time.
Next to that I bought the JBL Creature Speakers in the silver color. They match the 17inch very well an dtheir sound is awesome.

Furthermore i would recommend a good carrying case or envelop to put your 17inch in. And when traveling a lot I learned that that having a Radtech is an absolute must.

Oh yeh as if that was not enough I got myself an extra battery as well. I rtend to travel a lot with it and then a spare battey is something that youcannot miss out on.

www.radtech.us

a website with some handy goodies for your computer. if you can afford it yourself get the screensaver and sleeve. they are not that expensive and prevend your previous 17inch from getting dirty and or other unexpected problems.
