hello all, I've just been away from home for a few days. While away I used my 12" Powerbook for a day on mains power, then for about an hour on battery power. I closed the lid as normal and put it away in its sleeve where it stayed for another 3 days. I arrived home today to find my powerbook had shut down, not just gone to sleep as it does when the battery has run down, but completely shut down. Date and time had set itself to 1970.... Not really a major problem but surely my battery can at least keep the date and time up? What gives?

btw, osx 10.2.6 and when I last put the machine to sleep it was running Cubase sx and a couple of vst instuments and a few vst effects, so it was quite busy. Maybe this a stupid question, but does the ammount of apps, or how demanding they are, affect battery peformance when asleep?
