I have a Powerbook 5300c and I want to use it for internet purposes, what do I have to do?, what kind of card and router do I have to buy?
I want to be sure before buying.

Well typically any wireless cable/DSL router will do, such as an Apple AirPort or a Linksys, D-Link, etc. wireless router. However, you don't have to spend a lot...here's a deal on a wireless router: HERE
Also, if your PowerBook has a PC-slot, you'll need a PCMCIA wireless card like THIS ONE.

OS X is pretty good about recognizing non-Airport wireless cards. In the event that your card is not recognized, there are generic wireless drivers for OS X at sourceforge that work on most chipsets. The best supported chipset appears to be the Lucent/Orinoco brand.
