Hey folks. I was cleaning my keyboard, and now i just realized that the little piece that holds the key to the keyboard was broken
That ones the N and C keys.
Now i cant use those keys.
I called Apple Brasil and they told me that I must change the entire keyboard, and that would cost me more than 170 dollars. (that would be like 500 dollars in brazilian currency)
Does anybody here have any solution? Does anybody have a broken powerbook Keyboard and can donate me those two little keys?
Are you sure the keys are broken? They can unexpectedly pop off and here is a link on how to reinstall them in that case. This happened to me, but I found it was very easy to snap them back in place.
Out of curiosity are the PowerBook 12 and 17 inch keyboards "keys work like this". I know the keyboard is different but was just wondering if how they mount the keys is the same or not.
