Hi,

I am thinking of finally buying a Tibook. The thing is, that I can't wait no more, so update or no update I am buying the Tibook 1ghz/combo/60gb.

I was wondering, for the people who have ordered it in the UK, how long between ordering and having it delivered to your house?

Cheers

If it's anything like when I ordered my Ti a month ago here in the states then a week and a half sounds about right. I would presume they would do the same thing over there as they are doing here and if you buy it where it is out of stock (or a custom) they will just ship it directly from the factory in Taiwan. When mine shipped it was literally three days form being picked up to being delivered to me but I had to wait for it to go through the system and for it to be configured (and most likely built).

Good luck!!!

It took me 6 working days from order to delivery. You sure you want to buy a PB, living in Hackney?

(I'm in Bethnal Green myself)

I am curretly waiting for an insurance replacement following a hinge break on my 15' 667 DVI. I have on order a 15" 1Ghz, 60GB, combo drive.

Got a call from the company last week telling me that there is no stock in the channel currently - they will be shipping my on 15th Sept!

Can't make any comment what I might end up with !

cheers

It's not that bad Certainly the press picks up on anything, kinda sad.
6 days is good, thinking of picking up a 867 combo Tibook, since the price is the lowest for a long time. (1370 edu discount).

Regards
