My battery lasts for 1HR and 18min using it the way I would use it if it was plugged in...
anway, what can I expect from a new battery?
3 or 4 hours using it normally?
I own the first 500 dual usb icebook.
And do you have to do any special procedures to make the battery last longer?
thanks.

This has been dicussed at length. Anyway, 3-4 hrs can be expected with a new battery.
Make sure to fully drain/reload your aging battery from time to time. This way you calibrate it.

Don't worry about it. According to Apple they simply say that you should put in on the power outlet when you have the chance, and drain and refill it completely once a month for calibration. The battery is there to be used.
And BTW the life of the battery tends to be more depended on the battery itself it seems. Some batteries just last longer from factory to begin with, and other don't. It's just the way it's. Good luck.

How do you fully drain it? I let it go... it works for about 1HR and 30 min and then goes to sleep... i left it over night and I come back and it's still in sleep.. the battery has enough battery for sleep, but not to use...
Should I just take the battery out and evenutally all the power will drain?
