Okay... I have a White iBook 800MHz (Combo) with 32MB of VRAM... I hooked up an external 17" monitor (1024x768). I also applied the "Dual Head Display Hack" to enable screen spanning... With screen spanning... does it still split my 32MB VRAM in half making it 16MB for each screen?

Also, if I unplug the external monitor (or turn it off) will the iBook regain the 32MB VRAM instantly or do I have to restart... How can I tell?

did you actually go in and change the .plist configuration to split the vram? Or did you only do the spanning hack?
