This is the best forum of its type I've found.

If you find something more active, please post!

spymac is cool and they are helpful but I've found the most knowledge and tips here on MacNN

this is the best place you can be, and you can always use the search feature, I've spent days just doing searches here, most questions have answers doing a simple search on this forum

One thing MacNN has going for it is the "Rumor" post's. This is site is full of crap like that. They should create a seperate forum for Rumors.

One of my favorite aspects of this forum is the low frequency of off topic and rumor postings, and if they are posted, they are labeled as such.

We avoid rumors (and especially a rumors forum) not because we don't like them (well, I don't, but I don't speak for everyone) but because if we endorse rumormongering, Apple will cut MacNN off faster than Enron executives dumped their stock. And not being in Apple's good graces would be... bad.

As such, we have to keep rumors to a minimum (in fact, we should probably not allow rumor threads at all). But readers -- who have no idea why we can't have rumor threads -- love them, and post them over and over and over again.

Just wait until the new 15" PowerBook is released. This forum will be lit up.

I was unaware of such dealings with Apple Corporate. I don't like the redundancy of rumor threads, but we all must admit that they are fun to read sometimes.

This is the best forum I have found. I don't get to post much anymore because I am too busy. But I stop by once in a while to see what is going on.
It I want your opinion, I'll beat it out of you.

This is the best Mac forum site, I've been to other forums, but nothing comes even close to this one.
