Hi,

It seems that Apple is recommending fully discharging the Powerbooks battery for better performance.
Yet everyone else says that is bad for the battery and should not be done as it decreases capacity.

Read here or anywhere else on the www.

So what is the deal with that? Is Apple information out of date as it seems it refers to the "memory effect" older battery technology used to have.

I am really interested as in which way is the best way to handle Li-Ions batteries in Powerbooks.

Cheers
