With the new announcements today from Paris, I'll finally upgrade that old G3 powerbook to a 17" Al.
One question for you, with all the new bluetooth capability in the 15 as 17", has anyone seen any reports about health concerns using Bluetooth.
There was a short discussion here about using a powerbook on your lap with the Airport card on, what about a bluetooth keyboard and mouse in your hand all day long? Just curious.
Thanks, Nelson

I doubt it will be an issue.

Well, seeing as the public kitchens all have "Warning: Microwave May Be In Use" signs, and BlueTooth operates in the same frequencies, you'd be silly to use BlueTooth with a pacemaker. Somebody order a defibrillator?

Actual conversation between UCLA and Stanford during a login on early Internet - U: I'm going to type an L! Did you get an L? S: I got one-one-four. L! U:Did you get the O? S: One-one-seven. U: <types G> S: The computer just crashed.

Bluetooth will kill you sooner or later, but probably not before it is replaced with some other technology.

Is this a serious question? Could there really be people who are afraid of their health when buying a microwave or bluetooth equipped mouse? My god. Have they no life?
Did you know that you could actually die from swallowing the 15" AluBook battery? People might be interested in knowing that too! (btw: same goes for 12" iBooks, the rest are OK to eat.)

Considering that BlueTooth operates at a millionth the power of your average microwave oven and broadcasts in a diffuse pattern, I think you can hold off on that defibrillator purchase.
