I suggest anyone who wants to get a 1gb dim to go somewhere else. Apple must not have these in stock, the result is a 4-6 week shipping time from that the guy at apple told me. The only reason I went with a 1gb dim was because of it being 100$ cheaper with my adc purchase. I quickly canceled the order and placed a new order with just the base ram. I will have to find ram and order it asap.

Nice point here...you just helped a guy out in a post above as he cancelled his order & re-ordered w/ 2x512MB so it'll be shipped in 1-3 days.

Why get upgraded RAM from Apple at all, when they charge twice as much (or more) for the same stick you'd get from Crucial?
