Anybody know if the dimensions are the exact same?
What about the ability to drive an external monitor - it can do expanded desktop, right? What about the external supported resolutions?

This is kind of pivotal to me; I can do 1028 when portable, but will need a larger desktop at home. any ideas?

TIA.

It's the same size/weight as the last one...very manageable to tote around.

It can drive an external display in either Mirror Mode, OR, Screen-Spanning mode which means you can use your 12" PBs screen + an external screen for a single large desktop. It can push any external display via DVI/VGA/S-Video/RCA up to 2048 by 1536 resolution...more than enough for even Apple's own 23" HD display.
