Lack of lid rubber thingies on 15 and 17 PB's?

Hey, all. One of the (admittedly rather jejune) reasons I was waiting for the new 15-inch Alumabook is because I thought it was going to have those two little rubber thingies on the corner of the inner lid that would prevent the screen from touching the keys, like the 12-inch model and iBooks have, that supposedly helps prevent scratching from keys as well as the problem of finger grease getting onto the LCD screen and causing "crosshatch" patterns.
But I don't see those rubber thingies (I'm sure that's the technical term) on the new 15, or the existing 17. So, I guess what I'm getting at is this: do any current 17-inch PB owners have problems with key scratching/grease from fingers on the screen?
I know this sounds minor (and it won't prevent me from getting the new 15-inch this week), but I'd just like to know.

Well, if it's designed properly, it should be OK without them, I guess!
They're called screen bumpers, by the way.

According to what I've heard, the screen bumpers are on either side of the magnetic clip. They're kinda hard to see, but there.

If you're still paranoid www.radtech.us makes "WilDeepz" that work great...I had them on my 17" PB and it sturdied up the lid a good deal.

Look closer at the pics that Peter posted. They are there, but they are much smaller and positioned more to the sides of the display frame closer to the edge, and as mentioned above - there appears to be two more 'bumpers' on either side of the latch on top. I wonder if they designed these differently due to some people having problems closing the previous AlBooks flush.
See pics here.

Mine aren't doing much good on my 15" Ti. I just bought iKlear to clean off my filthy display, and will buy a screen protector shortly.

There are two straight rubber bumpers on each end of LCD. There is one on each side of the latch. This Powerbook lid also is not flush to the bottom. There is space and I think it is designed that way. The latch works much better then on my 12" too.

This is what I'm using, works like a charm. Love it.
