I had a 12" Powerbook for a short time and now have a new 15" It seems to me like the battery charges a lot faster in the new models than it did before. Does anyone else notice this or am I on crack?
Yup. I noticed that too. The battery is pretty small, 46 watt-an-hour. While the charger is rated 65 watts. After a full charge I got 2:09 hrs. with just the bluetooth off.
new battery on 15" is smaller than old battery by quite a lot, it'll charge faster, but it'll discharge faster too. (them are the breaks... looks like they were trying to save weight)
