I was going to get a Dual 2Ghz, but since the new PB's came out...I could finally get what I really wanted, an (aluminum) 15" Powerbook not plagued with warping screens!! I have a Samsung 172T, which was supposed to fit nicely with my G5, but now I want to use it with my powerbook and so my question is:

What can you do on the second screen? Can I be watching a movie in one, and doing regular tasks on the other? ... Yeah that's all I really wanted to know for now. Thanks for the help, you folks at MacNN forums are really awesome.

yes.. this is why GOD invented the dual screen option

what type of connector is built into the screen ? VGA or DVI ?

you can use both with your "new" PB 15" AlBook but it has a DVI port so if your display has a VGA one, you'll have to buy a DVI to VGA converter

hope this helps

Think of two screens as two computers, but you only have to have one computer.

You can litterly play a quake in one screen and watch a dvd on the other (computer power permitting)

Or surf two web pages, ect
