Get one..A 17'r that is.

Last December, I replaced my good ol' ti-400 with my current Ti-1,000.

I was kind of pee-owed at the soon after intro of the 17 since I need as much screen to go as possible. I thought that a sell and swap would not be too cost effective at the time. Also swore that there lap cookers needed to be a 2 gig-O-ram affair before I upgraded again.

So here we are. My Ti-1,000 is a great machine and there is no paint issues. It has a little trackpad shinyness and some slight marks of wear on the top cover, but that's it.

I am thinking that the new 1.33 machine with a 80GB 5400 RPM drive and one module of 1GB DDR ram would see a decent speed improvement over my current config.

My thought is to sell it (The Ti) while it still looks good. I dont think they stay as nice looking as the ALU books do with the paint issue.

I would sell mine with the two chargers and batteries and get a fair price I would bet. I see lesser machines going for 2K on ebay all the time.

So....should I wait for rev C or G5 next year and hope my paint holds up or pull the tree-gar.

Comments??

I'd wait for Rev. C personally, but if you're diggin' the Rev. B and need it now, sell your TiBook ASAP.
