15 Al and External Monitor?

Anyone tried a new 15in Al with a 23in Apple display? Does the new video card improve the performance? Does the machine run cooler, so that the fans don't jet-blast continuously? thx

I set up my boss a 17" AlBook with a 23" LCD. It ran great, didn't hear the fans come on, except when I tried some UnrealTournament 2K3 on it.

Quartz Extreme seemed to work on both desktops.

Dragging windows around was smooth, very little processor peaks.

So, if that's any indication of the 15", well.. ya.
