What does your AC adapter look like? (round or square)

That kind wasn't meant to glow...
Sorry. But hey, at least you don't have to worry about it not changing colors when it's supposed to.

Plus there's less glow in the night. The plug of the 700 annoyed me for a while in a dark room. Used to it now, but I don't generally like blinking lights, etc. that much
The subtle pulse of the sleeplight is nice though

Hello? McFly? Well you're sorta right. The ac adapter itself does not glow; however, the little ring around the recepticle hole on the iBook is supposed to glow whenever the AC adapter is plugged in and is receiving electrical power. This hasn't changed since the iBook intro in 1999.

Ah. Well, I've only seen it used with a 500Mhz Dual USB iBook, which I don't belive has such a ring.

Not completely true, I think. I have a early-edition 600Mhz iBook and there is no such ring around the recpticle on the iBook. It's only on the later models' adaptors. You're right that the design hasn't changed, though - it just never was on the book itself.
