Congrats to all the new owners,,

As we know the the Ti books had lousey recpetion .. I am waiting to buy a new Al once I can get some verification that the airport reception issue has been resolved. Thanks in advance for any input

I believe your question is a no brainer. Just look at what the new enclosures did for the 12 and 17's.

While I appreciate you deep insights...and I am aware of the 12" it is always nice to have independent verification from fellow users. Sorry to ask such a no brainer.. before i plunk down my money I like verification..

Actually, I've just gone from a 17" PowerBook to a new 15", and the Airport range seems to be marginally better on the 17". Not much difference, but I have to move slightly closer to my basestation to get an adequate signal.

I went from 12" iBook 800 to 12" PB and PB has a worse reception then iBook by about 30%

I have had pretty good reception with my 17". Sitting right next to my Netgear base station I get about 75% reception. Sitting outside on my porch I still get 75%. I owned a Ti 867 without airport so I can't compare the two.
