does anybody make an external battery charger for the 17 inch powerbook?

i want the 2nd battery for travel but does anyone make a charger that will allow me to charge that 2nd battery when it is NOT inside the powerbook?

No, only for the old old models I think, and this question has been posted before a week or so ago.

i was hoping someone had invented one in that period of time

I haven't seen one, but that's a pretty good idea. Unfortunately, any money I could invest will go towards software for my new PB 17".

Hmmm... than why did you even bother to post again with the same question just one week later? Trying to bring your post count up? hehehe, and no, we're not going to make one, unless you give us one million dollars than we'll use that money and hire, wait, I mean *design* one for you. Sure it won't cost a million to design one, but don't forget about hundreds of other fees hehehe.
