I just ordered a new powermac dual 1.25 G4 few weeks ago and the order status will be at the end of this month. I also ordered 20" cinema display. I dont do a lot of graphics just mostly iDvd and iMovie staff. Should I change it for the new 15" powerbook and powerbook is $300.00 more. Now that new powerbook came out I got confused. I don't need the portability of the 15" since I already got the 12" PB with superdrive but I really liked to used the 20" cinema display.

You could use a large display with your 12" PowerBook to have portability and screen size. But the 20" Cinema Display will only work with a rev B 12" PowerBook (and you will still need an $99 adapter to go from DVI->ADC).

How about getting a rev B 12" PowerBook with that Cinema Display? The 12" is cheaper than a 15", should have good performance and is very portable. And, you have one machine that fits all.

On the other hand, if you're in the need for pure speed get that PowerMac and only use the old 12" PowerBook when you have to, i.e. on the road.
