Does anybody know if it's possible to replace the DVD drive in a Ti 550 w/ the combo drive from another Ti 550?

I looked at the instructions at OMC and the inside of my Ti doesn't look like that they show - instead of the cable from the DVD plugging into the motherboard at 1 location it plugs into 2, possibly 3 locations. There's a small board under the DVD drive that seems to have something to do w/ the DVD.

I recently upgraded the hard drive so I was poking around seeing how difficult it'll be.

Has anybody tried this?
