I know this discussion is going to reoccur everytime a new iBook or Powerbook is introduced, but I have to start it up now.
I've had previously an iBook 366 Indigo, a 500 overclocked to 600, and currantly a 800 Combo. I'm eyeing the new PB 12" with a bit more than interest. When the time came to purchase the 800 combo model, the Rev. A PB's were turning out dismal numbers, but now with the Rev.B's I'm severly tempted to upgrade.
However....
The iBook like has to be due for an upgrade extremely soon. Macworld SF LATEST, and I'm not sure if I should wait or not. But with the 12" PB, I think Apples going to go away from the iBook being so small and light, and give it a better battery life, as well as make it more like the clamshell, to fit their image of a 'consumer' portable.
So what do you guys think? Go for the upgrade now? Wait to see about the iBooks? I like the size advantage the PB has (I'm that big on portability that even the small differents between the PB and iBook makes the PB more attractive).
