Any Lombard owners now own a 12" AlBook?

I'm thinking of moving "up" from a Lombard G3 to something smaller (while I await a 17" PBG5)...

1. Is the 12" screen any brighter or better than the old Lombard's? (I find both to be too dim--but I've only seen the 12" in the glare of store lights.)

2. How does the operational noise (HD? fan?) compare?

3. How about heat? Always worse than Lombard or just at certain times?

4. How are the feet attached? Lombard feet don't last a week.
