Just wondering if that's even possible. I see the student part, but where does the rest come off?

Developer discount. If you are a student taking computer-related courses in school, you can sign up for Student Developer membership for $99 through Apple and you get a one-time discount of like 20% or whatever...these guys just steal your money to tell you how to go to a certain web page that I can give you for free. So go here...

http://developer.apple.com/membership/usa.html

and click on "ADC Hardware Purchase Program Store"

Oh I see so you must pay $99 thats worth it to me. I pretended like I was going to check out and all, and got to where I enter in the payment and it never asked about ADC. I used my current email address and it looked like it was gonna go through for the discounted price. Where would it ask me about ADC or would it not?

Though I haven't used my student ADC discount yet... I'd guess that Apple would check it's database to see if the Apple ID is tied to a student ADC account with unused ADC discount, and would reject the order afterwards if they find that the person doesn't have it.

You're correct.. The order will process and apple will reject it as soon as they find out that you're not an ADC member.
