Hey folks. Long time lurker and new member here.
I'm looking at getting either the new 12" or 15" PB for a mobile recording solution (probably getting a Digidesin 002 Rack as well) and I'm wondering how the 4200 RPM drives will handle this sort of thing. I may get the 15" and opt for the 80 gig 5400 drive, but if possible, I'd like to go with the 12" to save some money since all told it would be about $1000 less with the configuration I was looking at. I'd love to have the 15" with superdrive and the faster drive, but have to make my money stretch as far as possible.
The other question I have is are there any of you who use the 12" for audio/music software stuff? Is the 12" monitor a real limitation? I'm trying to get a feel for how much of a difference the screen real estate makes one way or the other.
