My gf has a 1400 c which she says I could have.. but it doesn't have usb, and the battery stinks, and the hd is 1 GB so I can barely fit the programs I need in it.

Question, what can I add to it?

I remember long ago you could get a G3 in there.... can I add memory.. did they make better batteries since then?

Sounds like fun to bring it back from the dead, not to mention the keyboard kicks ass.

also it was my first mac.

thanks.

You can add a bigger hard drive, G3 processor upgrade, and a new battery to breath new life into your 1400c. Unfortunately you can expect to spend more than the computer is probably worth. Now, if it's a matter of nostalgia and price is really not the issue, the links above are a good starting point.
